TimePlan Education working in partnership with a lovely independent prep school in Royal Tunbridge Wells is currently looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic, resilient teaching assistant who is well organised with a sense of humour; willing to take the role of supporting two Year 4 students in accessing all areas of the curriculum. The appointment will be for 22.5 hours a week, 8.30 am to 1.00 pm each day, term time only.
A highly successful prep school located in eighteen acres of grounds in Tunbridge Wells. The school caters for children aged three to thirteen and currently has just over 300 pupils on roll.
Established since 1832 the school benefits from modern well equipped facilities including a creative arts centre and theatre, a sports hall and swimming pool.
During their last inspection in 2013 the Independent Schools Inspectorate ( ISI) judged the schools as "excellent" in all areas.
Ideally candidates will have experience of working with children in a variety of settings and environments, bringing with them good communication skills both written and verbal to allow pupils the opportunities to develop social skills, positive behaviour patterns, raise self-esteem and improve independent working skills.
